Access control for doors, gates and vehicle entries
One system for every door and gate: cards, phones or PINs, a visitor intercom, and a record of each entry, from a single office door to a full community entrance.
Every door and gate reports to the same system. You decide who opens what and at which hours, and you see each entry. We work mostly with UniFi Access, and with enterprise access control panels for larger sites.

Communities and HOAs
Gates need more than a reader
A community or commercial gate needs a call box for visitors, a safe way out and the right safety devices. We design the access side, from the call box and readers to the cameras at the entry lane, and coordinate the gate operator work, which follows the UL 325 safety standard, with the gate contractor.
Access control work
Door hubs, controller boards and power supplies, wired and labeled the same way every time.
Access control questions
Can people use their phone as a key?
Yes. Most systems we work with open doors from a phone app, and some also support keys in the Apple or Google wallet, which can carry a yearly fee per user. Cards and PINs keep working for anyone who prefers them.
What happens when someone leaves the company or moves out?
You remove the person in the app and their card, phone and PIN stop working right away. No locks to change and no keys to collect.
Can it work with the locks and readers we already have?
Often, yes. Existing electric strikes and maglocks can usually stay, and some older readers can be connected through a retrofit hub. We confirm it door by door during the site survey.
Who installs the system?
Lenstar designs the system, supplies the equipment, configures it and supports it afterwards. Installation is contracted through our licensed Florida partner, who signs the work and pulls the permits when the job requires them.
